Tidal Revival is the world's first app that rewards people for cleaning plastic from water courses and beaches. Tidal Revival motivates and rewards people to clean beaches through the reward of discounted products and service offerings.
The network of Tidal Revival users around the world will collect plastic waste from the natural environment and use Tidal Revival to record their work. Tidal Revival records the amount of plastic recovered by the app user together with the location of the recovery and a picture of the plastic retrieved.
The inbuilt process within Tidal Revival takes the user through a short sequence of steps (only when the user is on a registered beach confirmed with GPS location). Once the sequence is complete, the app user is rewarded with points that are then exchangeable for discount vouchers from local businesses.
It’s human nature to look for a bargain or a great deal, to help others and to protect the environment we live in. Tidal Revival will allow users to fulfil all three of these natural instincts by encouraging users to remove plastic from beaches - rewarding them with discount vouchers from a range of local offerings.
Not only will Tidal Revival exchange plastic for vouchers, but Tidal Revival will also act as a platform that will notify users with live updates about plastic waste being spotted on beaches around the world - pin pointing the location of the plastic waste and allowing proactive users to quickly react and remove the plastic from the beach before the next tide potentially washes the plastic back into the sea.
